DONGYING THREE HOSPITALS COMPLEX

In the very beginning of coronavirus pandemic, our studio got the urgent challenge to design the three hospitals complex. In just 14 days, we were able to study the topic, come up with the concept and draw it out with all details. That was a time of heroism in China, and for us it is an important milestone for reaching our confidence as an independent practice.

The whole complex revolves around the reclaimed central pond, united with the roofscape. At the same time, core accessibility, safety, personnel and patient comfort issues are carefully resolved. This nature-centered place rethinks what the hospital can be when higher health threat becomes a new normal.
